Lots of cuddles and photos welcome.
Our sessions are offered at donation only... The average donation is £20 per session (not per person). We do receive donations both more and less than this especially when larger groups come together but it is entirely based upon your circumstances.
The donations go towards the upkeep of the ponies so they can continue to provide therapy for our visitors.
Contact Us to book your visit. We offer sessions on a Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. To book just message a day that suits you and we will get back to you with our availability and booking details.
Horses and ponies have been proven to help in many ways.
They have the ability to change the way that you are feeling through a calm and mindfulness activity, this then helps to build confidence, trust, social skills, communication, impulse control and even teaches boundaries. All of this then makes you feel happier, calmer and helps you deal with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Not only mental health issues but also being around ponies reduces anger and behavioural issues can be calmed when around the ponies especially with people with ADHD.
As well as reducing anxiety and depression, being around them can be helpful for people with learning and physical disabilities as it improves movement and cognitive function. This is because even when grooming, brushing or stroking you practice balance, and develop muscles that you don't use much in everyday life. Without even realising you are participating in a form of physical therapy.
Autism is a huge struggle for most parents especially when it comes to everyday life and finding activities to suit autistic children and adults. Therapeutic sessions with ponies have been proven to reduce irritability and hyperactivity, as well as improve communication.
We are knowledgeable regarding a range of different disabilities and offer a safe but all inclusive visit. Promoting Forever Loved Horse Therapy as a happy place and safe space for everyone whilst visiting.
Our sessions are provided on a 1:1 basis meaning only you will be taking part in the session, no other bookings will be at the same time.
We are also aware of social anxieties and therefore leave a gap between bookings so that you are less likely to bump into the next session causing any meltdowns or unease.
If you have any special requests or anything you feel we can do to help then please message and we will do our best to help or accommodate for your needs.
